So riding in the lakes has left me considering some. Obvious choice is the 661 KyleStraights. However, saw the POC ones the other day and they would seem a decent contender, but at £60 they are in 661 EVO teritory and they guaruntee they wont see regular use.
Obviously I will try them on, but interested in just how tough they are - is it one decent fall onto rock and they have holes in or are they more durable than that?
They are cheaper than the d30 model and a lot better fitting and performing.
Check with Rick and Topps for opinions on effectiveness.
Only a few pairs left in stock and no more til september. The new seasons range will feature some VPD shin and 'wrap-around' style knee variants like the Kyles.
There is no way you will make holes in the VPD.
*thread drift*
how's the lakes ? having fun ?
See other thread numbnuts...
that's going to clash terribly with a pink helmet and an orange goth bike
i'd agree, but anyone who can make that ensemble work with black painted fingernails and a red and black stripey jumper, is well ahead of the game i think.
