Ive ordered a steel HT that will take 26 or 650b wheels. Its designed for 650b but the rear adapters sort the geometry for 26. I currently have a spare 26 fork as listed above. Will a 650 b wheel and tyre fit to allow me to run 650b or is a hopeless bodge that will cause kittens to die and unicorns to weep?

A 2.2 trail King on 27.5 rims fits in a 26" 36. A 2.4 trail King does not fit "safely".
Both mounted on DT Swiss ex1750 wheels.
