[Closed] 650B tube in a 29er?

Small hole just above the bead on a low wear 29er. Can't afford to ditch it, so will a suitably wide 650b tube probably kinda maybe work?

Thanks in advance for abuse/advice. 😎

Would a puncture repair patch work?

Ta all. If I could identify the spot I'd try an anchovy but it seems a bit close to the bead for that. I'll have closer look tomorrow. Just need t get the bike ready for the commute on Tuesday.

Schwalbe sv19a officially fits both.

I've had 26er and 29er tubes working in everything from 26ย  to 27.5, B+, 29 and 26x4.

They're made of expandable rubber you know.

Though all the above sizes work better without them...

I officially don't have one but will approach my situation with more confidence.

😎

Thanks. Looking better for Tuesday.

Great. Go to shed, tyre still up after being left overnight. Presumable the sealant eventually fixed it. But now I don't trust it as the air was escaping right next to the rim. Arrgghhhhh!

I'll have to go for a ride when it stops raining and see what happens. Or just stick the tube in. But its a Conti Race Sport and feels sooo good tubeless. First world problem for sure...
