Just been reading an article about 650b wheels and it got me wondering whether or not I could fit 650b wheels to my BFe?
I know I can fit a front wheel with my Fox forks and after a bit of reading up it seems I might be able to fit a rear in the Cotic frame but......... Would it be worth it or would it be a pile of poo to ride?
you could just run a front 650b... that way the BB height issue would be lessened.
or just run a large volume 26 inch tyre? You wont be able to run anything but a small 650b tyre even if they do fit so whats the point?

This. I'd be incredibly surprised if the difference in outside circumference between something like a 26" 2.4 Rubber Queen and a 650b tyre was enough to be able to perceive any difference (if indeed the large 26" was any smaller).
650b will fit with a small 2.1" tyre, because that's SMALLER than a 2.4/2.5" 26" wheel I've designed it for. And even if you do manage to fit a smaller tyre/large diameter wheel in, you'll have raised the BB which will make the handling worse.
Oh well, that's put paid to that idea!
