Yeah, I heard that on the way to work too. Fair play on the cops - the student just sounded...very studenty, in the way he was trying to squirm out of it.
That story, and the one afterwards with a son trying convince his father to go back to Man Utd games as it was 'hurting their relationship' made me turn over!
I'm not so sure that "weaving" around pedestrians is a bad thing; if you could promise me that every driver would weave around me I might just start commuting on the bike
