We have just recieved 5 x dx lights. (Not from dx) 4 are really bright but one is very weak.. I've swapped batteries around etc so its not that. Its got three settings bright, not so bright and flashing (like all of the others) .. even on the brightest setting its really crap..
Any ideas - I can send back but its a long wait hk and back.
Buy cheap buy twice !

Thanks for the link, been through it and still got the same problem.
Can you swap parts round between the torches to find the weak component? Have you tried bypassing the switch (by running a wire from the (-)ve end of the battery to the case)? Still weak?
JonT - they are not torches, its a handlebar mounted light. The switch is on the circuit board, I got a full refund and get to keep the bust light so I am more keen than ever to try and get it working! Any other hints?
