does it have to have a 4X in the name? What qualifies a 4X bike?

I thought the Kona Bass was more of a slopestyle bike.

I dont know the point in listing them, think he just wants full sussers designed for 4X, and they do tend to have 4X in the title.
I think in all these 4X threads we're forgetting that a purists 4X bike is still a hardtail. ๐Ÿ˜€

4x is hardtail territory surely?

Low standover, 4 inch travel(ish), progressive/firm suspension, slacker than an XC bike, ISCG mounts - that kind of thing. Some Slopestyle bikes would count I s'pose.
