my mate is after a HT frame and has seen the 456. he's a few inches taller than me, so around 5'9". would a 16" be about right; not too small but more chuckable than an 18"?

is anyone selling a frame in the run up to christmas? 16" and light blue would be perfect.

cheers

J

Im 6ft and ride a 18, problem with the 16" is that you have to have a 400mm Seatpost all the way up. which in my opinion looks silly.
I find the 18" perfectly chuckable.

Although I ride a Summer season but very similar.

i'm 5'9" and have a 16" 456 and an 18" standard inbred. don't go more than 16" for the type of riding the 456 enjoys...

I'm also 5'9" and ride a 16".Not sure if it looks silly with the post all the way up, I cant see it when I'm riding anyway.

i'm 6'2" - and ride an 18"

GF is 5'5", and rides a 14"

your mate sounds like a 16" rider to me...

(the saddlle-all-the-way-up thing is an intentional design feature, a long seatpost will flex a bit more, making it even more twangy and comfy)
