My bike came with 51mm offset forks and 29er wheels
Im now running 27.5 wheels (frame's flip chip now in the high position) and Ive been offered some 44mm offset forks at a very good price
So is there any downsides to changing to a 44mm offset fork?

Might feel a bit ponderous (more trail=more resistance to changing direction) but…

A smaller wheel turns quicker with a given rake. So shortening the rake for a smaller wheel makes sense.
