Is there such a thing as a 44mm headset that allows the fitting of a 1 1/8 or tapered steerer depending on a extra fitting? Sure hope had one but now their website has changed I can't find it (if it did exist).

I just bought a Gusset R-Series Mix 'N' Match Heatset (Size: EC44/40), for my Mega which has a 44mm headtube. It's to fit some Pikes which are tapered. I've kept my old Nukeproof top cup which is 1 1/8" and so will just fit the bottom cup.

It's the one above, ^^^^^^^ right about back there..
you'll need on of these as well if you want to run 1 1/8 steerer forks in it.
Cool, want to try and get away from buying and removing stuff when I change forks.

You want a Hope 2H headset and the adapter Rusty linked to, plus an extra 1.5" crown race.
