400 quid approx road bike
Currently looking at the Giant Defy bikes anything else to consider at this rough price?
Defy 3.5 has carbon fork I think.
Some of the Carreras at halfords aren't bad for that sort of money. The defys are nice though.

Problem is though, I cant go to the shop and try it for size.. Im roughly 6ft4 I think.. would need to measure myselft and guess size and reach

I'm 6'4" and ride a 62cm Spesh, if that helps. If not used to a road bike, I'd go for 60cm. My CX bike is 58cm.

True, gawd knows what I was thinking when I posted. I'm 6'2" - 34" leg and ride a 60cm Spesh road bike if it's any help.

A budget brand maybe but a guy I ride with had one last week and it looked really nice in that kind of "On-one Pompino blue"....the grip tape looked a bit thin but apart from that nothing to complain about.
