Dear all,
I have an SLX 10 speed combo of 42/32/24, and the 42 met an untimely warped death this week.
I was thinking of converting to 2x10, taking off the 42 and replacing the middle. However, 32 just isn't fast enough for me. My casette is 11/36.
I see SRAM 2x10s run 39/26 (as their sensible option vs ), so was thinking something like a 36-38/24. What do you recommend?
I know I can keep my 3 gear front mech to run with 2x10 using limit screws, but will a mech designed for the larger ring be better i.e. 2x10 specific?
Many thanks, Andy ๐
i just removed the big ring and fitted an E-13 bash. Didn't bother with the limit screws either. Why on earth anyone would forget they removed a chain ring and attempt to shift into the big wring they don't actually have fitted is a complete and utter mystery to me
