Where can I buy a 36 tooth chainring for my new XT chainset? Shimano doesn't seem to do them. Will any 104bcd four arm chainring do?
want to run 36/24 set up

As far as I know the SLX chainring will fit XT and definately comes in 36. But, you'd probably be better going aftermarket.

Shimano don't make an M770 XT ring in a 36T, they use the M761 XT ring.

The slx fits fine. I also run 24/36 on an xt chainset.
