[#302572]

I can get my hands on some very cheap hubs to build some tougher wheels for my Roadrat, but the rear is a 36h, and I can't find a 36h 700c rim....
Well, not on CRC anyway, I'm still looking.

Any ideas?
I tend to like 36h rear wheels, too
🙂

OK, I'll have a look at them, but I've just found Mavic open pros and open sports in 36h at SJS cycles too
🙂

try searching for tandem wheels/rims because they need more spokes. i know we built a 48 spoke 700c rear wheel in my bikeshop but can't remember what there front one was... will try find out though.

Rigida Chrinas or Sputniks depending on how beefy you want:

Plenty of 36h options here: http://www.parker-international.co.uk/c/65/Rims---Clincher.html

Mavic a319 or a317 work for me, try SJS cycles as they stock loads of touring type stuff.

Cheers guys, some of those Rigida rims look like what I'm after. I should be able to knock up a decent set of wheels for about £55 all in with a bit of luck...!

😀

(Anybody want some Shimano Tiagra wheels in a few weeks please email me! Good wheels, but just too light for what I subject them to)
