Just found Alturas aren't doing the 3/4 version any more , as my current pair only lasted 2 Winters maybe no great loss
I like my Endura MT500. Quality varies a bit though I think - I went through the arse very quickly on some regular shorts while the same but 3/4 length version are still going strong.
Best we have had are the Madison Tempest. Still some sizes left on eBay and a few of the online shops
Norrona Fjora Dri3, best Ive found but with price to match, great quality and extended warranty, fell off, brake lever went through shorts, they did a pro repair foc and posted back within a week.
Have tried gore, fox , scott, endura, loeffler and oneal
I have a pair of the madison ones which are pretty good for the money but not really 3/4.
Endura MT500 are not worth the money had to send them back for a repair due to wear the repair was dreadful .
I've got a pair of MT500 shorts that wore through top of my saddle.....!
