[#1948316]

I've only managed a rather pathetic 532 off-road miles. For the last few years I've logged around 3x that by now. No real reason for it, but going to put a lot more effort in for the last quarter.
So how many have you managed?
Try and keep to off-road miles or at least separate the totals.

Nah, mixing & matching is fine, I regularly quote measurements like 1'7" & 3mm to the guys at work, they know what I mean, it took them a while though ๐Ÿ™‚

What size are your car tyres? ๐Ÿ™‚

Dunno really but it must be less than 100. Only been back on the bike in the last few months though due to illness.

6,128 miles so far, (road & MTB) but I've been off injured for the last two months. Just back on a road bike again now.

Did 15,216 in 2005 but I was unemployed for 6 months.

No idea on the on/off road mix, but I do try to do as much as possible off road...

Using MapMyRide for distance and climb:

Year to date: 985 miles, 63,196ft climbed, about 64ft/mile.

By coincidence (and it really is) the Kielder 100 route on MMR has a climb rate of 62ft/mile.

Which is nice.

@andrewh - That's more miles than I DRIVE in a year. You must never be off the bike!

Elite XC/marthon racer with little else to do...
More than I drive too, car only insured for 10,000miles a year and that's just for travelling to/from races. Use bikes for almost all other journeys.

3000 miles on commuter. MTB i'd guess 2-300 miles-ish. Had about 1-2 months off at various points in the year.

Not many to be honest, I do just over 5 a day which equates to about 1120, plus a few longer rides. I'd guess not more than 1200 though. Pitiful really!

I've got to estimate mine, but an average of 50 miles per week, somewhere around 1900 or 2000 miles. All SS off road.

Maybe if we keep this thread going til the end of September we can gloss over my shocking maths fail.
Well, on a positive note I have another 30 days to get the mileage up.

I've got 2485km logged on my Garmin.
Adding in commuting and other rides where I didn't use my Garmin, probably about 7500km altogether.

4734.6 miles for the year to date as of this mornings commute.

I cant seperate off road and road, but needless to say most of that is on road, commuting and weekend rides as almost all off my offroad days out wouldnt even go above 10 miles. Its up fire roads and down singletrack here and back up the same hill again. Not that much actual ground covered. Smiles and not miles for my offroading ๐Ÿ™‚

Something like 600 or 700 miles at the very very most, taking in mtb, roadie and cross. This year has not been a good year for biking.
