What's the advantage of 3/4 length baggies? I'm in the market for some new shorts as my very old Patagonia shorts are wearing through and I don't understand what these new fangled 3/4s are for. Is it some public school Plus 4 thing 😆 ?

They're wearable for much more of the year than just baggie shorts. Function over fashion.

As long as my knees are kept warm I don't mind wearing 3/4 even in the middle of winter.

i have really bad knees...pale and sort of bulbous...3/4s hide em!
