I had been telling the Wife that I was doing a MTB Challenge Today over in Huddersfield, so early last night was spent getting the bike tuned up and oiled ready for a good early start. Anyway I came from my work cellar to find my wife laughing at me and calling me a numpty 😥 when I enquired what was so funny she tells me I am a week early for my much looked forward to ride 😳
So I decided to have a good long ride local as a bit of training, and ended up doing the 3 towers ride starting in Darwen which is around 34 miles long with a splattering of good climbs and downhills 😛
First one on route is Peel Tower
