If I was to get a place would a Roadrat with drops be allowed?
Not familiar with a road rat, has it got 700c wheels that will run a max of 35c tyres, does it have drops. if so I'd say no problem.
EDIT After googling I'd say Yes, that'd be allowed.
Ta blazin
I've not picked a roadrat up, but I suspect they're not the lightest of bikes? I wouldn't want to have to carry one of those up some of the 3 Peaks sections. Disc brakes is a positive for some of the descents though!

True - but I can't afford a bike just for one event!
woody2000 of these parts CX'd up his Roadrat for the Halifax Citycross. It looked awesome!
Any pics about?
Should be ok. It needs to be a cx bike and I think there is a definition on the website. You don't commit to pay at this first step so ou could throw your name in the ballot and then drop them an email regarding the bike.
Friend did it on an old Dawes touring bike, it was heavy but it still raced
A number of us have done it on pompinos. I bet they're heavier than roadrats.
