2x10 12-36 Cage length?

39-26 front, 12-36 cassette - what cage length? Thought medium was needed, but wiggle say 36t cassettes need a long cage. Is it really important to get it right?

Googlefu not helping - I basically want Mr Sram to tell me what to get, and I can't find it.

Apologies also, as this probably breaks the "only one thread about cage lengths on the front page at any time" rule.

Running same combe with a Sram XX medium cage no problems.

Medium works fine with a 36T largest sprocket still. It's the overall teeth difference that you need to worry about.

But in that respect you're fine still. Medium will be ok, you'd just need a long if you were running a triple up front.
