cant believe I am asking ...anyone made the switch from 819 to arch ex and noticed ? not too bothered about weight as most of my tyres (2.2-2.35)are wire bead and I suspect its something you just get used too.Frame wont take anything beyond rubber queen 2.2 so flows seem ott (for my less than gnar riding)does a wider rim lower the profile of the tyre ?
