Indeed, ideal weight for them is 120kgs, normally a kids/tweenagers boat and really they ought to sail it in some clean water..

I got rid of my 29er years ago so now all my bikes are 26. I ride them cloaked in a brown paper bag

This whole wheel debate reminds me of when i was a kid. A group of friends and I all had cheap basic mountain bikes when we were about 13. We use to upgrade bits from pocket money/part time jobs etc. After about 6 months all except me ditched the mountain bikes and bought BMX's. They kept saying get with the fashion and buy a BMX but i stuck with my MTB. 6 months later they gave up on their BMX's and started on the MTB again. They continued to switch for another year or so and i started to work more and save up for a new MTB. I started riding with a club and with the money i had saved i bought a Scott Comp XC (about £750 isn, not mega money but i was only 16). I met up with my mates again after a few weeks and they were all so jealous of my bike.
The moral of the story is... You dont NEED the latest tech and you dont NEED to keep up with the latest fashion. Just get out and Fing ride for F sake.
