Did a recent endurance event having not done one for a while
Couldnt help noticing the amount of 29ers around
Cant say ive ever really been interested in them
Ive always thought that its a bit of a fad

So the questions are
Whats the advantages?
Has anybody had one and regretted it ?
Theres talk of 650b being the new 29er so is the 29er already on the way out ?
lastly
Is it all about what type of terrain you ride ?
Thanks

We'll assume you've been in a coma for the last year and I'll summarise for you.
They're better at some things.
Some have.
No.
No.
You're very welcome

Don't get one!!! Pretend you've never seen one or even heard of them..if anyone mentions them look blankly at em and say "I've got new shoes"...til they stop..
You'll thank me for that later... ๐Ÿ˜€

OP - What khani means is despite losing his house, missus, job, dignity, self respect and sense of self-worth...He's dead chuffed to have a collection of 29ers to ride from his little safe-haven cardboard box ๐Ÿ˜€

Snap,

I would test a few out yourself and make your own mind up! If you even ask nicely on here, I'm sure you could have a ride or two on some members 29er's. I did and never regretted it but some of my cycling mates don't see any advantages with 29er's over their 26er's, but they all like riding mine!
Good luck.

Youll have to try one and make your own mind up imo, it's too subjective to ask others, you just get too many conflicting replys, I like em, others don't, but it's just a bike at the end of the day...
As said above ^^^ as long as your having fun its all good.. ๐Ÿ˜€
