Right I'm thinking of getting some new wheels for my Gary Fisher Rig. Any suggestions. Bugdet could maybe go as high as £300 but less would be better. I do a lot of miles so something that lasts, but reasonably light as well would be good.

My geared 26" bike as hope hubs and I like them, confused as to if the singlespeed ones are quick release though?

I've had success with stock Bonty wheelsets - the rhythm comps. Not that light but nice wide rims and stood up to rigid riding. They also do the rhythm elite and pro but I'm not sure how much they are. I just use spacers for ss. Sam at Singular is building me some bonty rims onto Hope hubs - might be worth mailing him (he also supplies bonty wheels).

I'm sure your wheels don't weigh more than me, maybe the whole bike 😉

Will try sam clink, thanks.
