Hello,
i need to buy some grippier tyres for the upcoming winter.I am running bontrager 29-3 which are fine on drier tracks but as i found out yesterday now things are getting a bit more slippery i need something else. What are you people using?

Use a Hans Dampf at 19psi, works on roots and mud for me on Mendip

Have been using a Specialized Purgatory Control 2.3" up front with a with a Ground Control 2.1" on the back for a few weeks now. I've used sooooooo many tyres over the nearly 2 decades I've been riding bikes, but this combo is proving to be one of the best all rounders I've ever run! The Ground Control is quick, yet hooks up surprisingly well in all but the wettest conditions, the Purgatory up front just doesn't seem to want to let go at all. Highly recommended.
