The race kings that came on my scandal are kak for anything other than hardpack so after somthing new. Would like to ghetto my rims and run tubeless at the same time. Max size 2.2 according to on one, want something like the bonty 29-4 but they're a 2.3 and if they come up as big as the 2.2's do on my fuel ex they won't fit.

So what ya happy using?

I'm running a mix of bonty acx 2.2 f & R or my current faves are the team 29.3 tyres with the front 2.3 and rear 2.0 combo. Grips like poo to a blanket very fast and will cope with peak district stuff as well

Cheers taz mate, didn't know they did the narrower rear in the 3's. I'll hunt some of those out. Really like the bonty tyres, doddle for inflating tubeless. Cheers pal, you're becoming my font of knowledge! You local to macc?

2nd for the 29-3 but I'm runnig the 2.3's front & back.

They were great in all conditions last weekend from dry to heavy mud i couldn't fault them. Will definatly get the same again when these need replacing.

Try Chevin Cycles in Otley, they also do mail order 😉

I'm liking Maxxis Ardent Front, Crossmark rear in summer - they are holding up well tubeless. Bonty MudX are definitely the pick for muck.
