A mate is considering getting a 29er mtb as a commuter/occasional mtb and asked if they did slicks for 29er mtb rims.
Anyone have any recommendations or do you just use some of the wider 700c tyres?
more choice in 700c unless he needs to go wide.
these get some good reviews

Anything that says 622 on the sidewall.
Always thought 29er slicks were 700c...
I have schwalbe big apples on my 29 commuter. Great slick tyre.
Schwalbe marathon plus. 8000km through Africa and not a single puncture.
Come in various sizes. 38 was a nice size
Has anyone tried furious freds? Very light but how puncture prone are they?
