Trying to get my head around the sizing on 29ers

Was thinking of cracking open the piggy bank for one of these but looking at the geometry tables, [given my other bikes have a TT of 590ish] I'll need a small.
Is there something different about 29ers? - do they only make them for people starting at 6' ?

Anyway, I'm 5'11½ " with a 32 inside leg, just doesn't seem right ordering the smallest frame they do

5'9" here. 18" Inbred with 70mm stem. Fits perfect. Your a medium I reckon.

I'm 5'11"1/2 with a 29 inch inside leg. Bought a large (19") Gary Fisher Marlin yesterday and it fits me perfectly. 🙂
The different ways that manufacturers measure bikes more or less means that you need to ride a bike before you know whether it fits or not.

I agree different companies use different sizing & I never bother with their label only the numbers

But I've never been in the situation of needing the smallest size they do and was wondering if I'm missing something other than another 5" in height?

What fork is it on that? is is a fat bike fork with 135mm old? Hose dose the offset and a/c height compare to a rigid 29er fork?

What bollocks? - I was merely pondering if bike companies set the sizing of 29ers to start at around 6 footers [thinking that's where the market is], not whether shorties can ride them or not

I have a large (19") frame 29er, I'm 6'0", the same bike comes in a 15" frame and also doesn't come in a bigger frame.
So i'm guessing 29er's aren't just for giants.

Two things -
Isn't 5' 12" the same as 6' 0"?
Have you heard of Willow Koerber?
