got my speedhub and blunt P35 rims ( 32h) ready for a build . Just wanted to check re recommendations on lacing and spokes/brass nipples etc . want a strong reliable build as I'm no weight weenie and value reliability over peformance .

Make sure the spokes pull on the hub hole tabs in the correct direction. There is info on the rohloff site. Also cross pattern recommendations

Maximum 2x an pulling away from the casing bolt.
read somewhere 3 cross was OK for 29ers but not 26... ?

Fwiw I've built 29" 3x, but most hoff material seems more than happy at 2x
I'm sure Rohloff specify 2x. I must get round to building mine into a wheel - 10 years is a bit long to having it lying around. 🙂
With the large diameter hub 2x will be strong enough.
