[Closed] 29er rigid, rack mounted mtb?

Does such a thing exist for reasonable money? I've been looking at on-one scandal 29ers and like the idea as a winter/commuter bike, but could do with some rack mounts. I could go for a pompino/day one I suppose but I'd rather run proper mtb wheels for the rocks round here.
I'd rather have an alfine on it, but would settle for gears, SS at a push if it had the prerequisites (and was dirt cheap).

Any ideas?

Cheers, Neil

Just looked and they don't seem to have anything other than the 700c wheeled spindly things in steel with rack mounts.

Both the Singular Peregrine and the Salsa Fargo have hard-point rack-mountings.
(Dunno if either fit the 'reasonable' requirement tho' ...)

P-clips are a bit of a hack, but in practice, (and against my expectation / better-judgement) I've found they do actually work ok for commuting duties.
