Please remove the chain stay protector from that beautiful frame, how much chain slap do you expect from a SS.
Looking good!
Hoping to build a 29er Scandal with the insurance payout from my stolen Inbred.
Trent!
Just being cautious with my new paint!
I know your right! ๐

I do! You selling one?
there might happen to be this one lurking in the tazzy workshop at the moment ๐
(Can't see the photo.)
Is it Rich's or Paul's? I've ridden alongside both of them on the same day ๐
rich's old one
Tazzy,
Can't see the picky!

y's pic[/url]
That's awesome!
Can vouch for its awesomeness.
I felt truly awsome when swapped bikes for a quick spin, as opposed to feeling truly medoichre when on my own ride. It absolutely sprouts wings when pointed upwards, and as exceedingly quick handling when you hit the singletrack.
and as exceedingly quick handling when you hit the singletrack.
that's the frame plus my tazzyshox 51mm offset revelation 29er hybrids ๐
Drop me text if you are out tomoz. Will not be riding but will be dropping my kit bag off at Mammoth in readiness for the journey, so can pop to the Barley Mow to see Selma and partake of a beverage.
Picto- you just want to lick my new frame. just think if I don't like it I can tempt you into a lifetime of poverty for it and go back to on-one ๐
tazzymtb, if you're still thinking of selling the proto Scandal, can you let me know? Need a replacement for my stolen Inbred and that'd be ideal; been experimenting with a slack seat angle and love it.
It's like a big boys bmx!
He's only 4' 2" though Pete, he would have vertigo if he tried to ride it with the post at that height. ๐
Chainslapp,
You should be in bed getting ready for the big day tomorrow! ๐ฏ
I finally got my wheels on Friday! ๐
Two good rides over the weekend and love it!
Here it is!

Sorry for the delay! ๐
Thats nice, I want that!! ๐
lovely looking dinky 29er, you may as well sell the gearie version as you'll never use it again
Love it! How do you get your chain so short? I can never get mine like that and still get wheel in and out. Break the chain?
Matt, he's from Yorkshire, even his chain is too tight. ๐
I want the Tazzy's one now!

I want the Tazzy's one now!
it's going on to be borrowed for a week or two for someone who's dinky to see if they like big wheels and then I'm going to sell it
although I am missing the giant tyre clearance of the on-one when compared to my new toy so a pair of nobby nic 29er's may well be going with the frame as well ๐ฅ
EDIT: no nobby nics now I'm bartering for other bits ๐ it would be available with a mirror polished hope headset, ti seat clamp mirror polisher chain tug and bits n bobs.
(it is on first refusal for someone at the moment at then it'll appear in the classifieds)
That looks ace, tk46hal!
then I'm going to sell it
๐

bike looks amazing!
whats the weight?Thanks!
The weight is under 20 lbs!
Will you mate Powedercoat fork lowers too??
My Heckler could do with a pick me up I reckon..
Unlikely. What! You were there then when we weighed it?
around 20lbs for a small scandal 29er with carbon bits and stans wheels is about right. Mine varied from under 20 with a carbon fork to about 22 lbs with boingy u turn forks and big old 2.25 nobby nics on
I removed my comment as I was referring to the wrong bike.
That is one fugly bike.
Each to their own...
I removed my comment as I was referring to the wrong bike.No problems Kingtut! ๐

Looks fantastic, really loving the colour.
Is it me or do Scandals look very slack?
