I've got a revelation DNA 140mm travel fork on my 29er FSR stumpjumper, which is fine, but the damping isn't the best (it's ok, but nothing amazing) and the stiffness is acceptable but a bit twangy when really pushing the fork (with a tapered steerer and 20mm bolt through).
How do people think a Marzocchi 44 chassis compares to the rev? Stiffer or not? I've seen a couple of micro ti models going 2nd hand for reasonable money, (although they are straight steerer with 15mm bolt throughs). Ideally I'd have a pike or the 34mm xfusion thing, but money doesn't grow on trees round here, so was wondering how they perform in comparison to revs.
