Hello,
Is anyone running a 29+ with an Alfine, as seen about I'm considering a Rooster or Stooge and have been looking at rim options.
Been trying to find something 36h to run with my Alfine in the rear. If I'm right the Stooge will only take a plus on a 30mm rim? On-One seems to have an option for that, cheap atm as well.... but was wondering about 40mm+ if I decide to go for the Rooster.
Can anyone point me in a direction of something? Or am I completely mad going Alfine and 29+, got the checked shift on but work wont allow beards....

Here's my Krampus with the Alfibe fitted. I built it onto a Pacenti DL31 rim, and it's been fine with tyres from 2.4" upto 3" on it. Profile on the 3" tyre is a little rounder, but rides fine.

Thanks, I've been looking at the Pacenti DL31 from On-One, as at £20 each I thought it was a bit of a bargain for a quick 29+ build.
