I'd love a decent second hand 29er full suss. if its really light I'f love it even more.
Could anyone give some ideas, I can't go more than £1000 and then I'd have to hide it for a while

You could pick up a decent Giant Trance or Anthem for that.

I've just bought a six month old Trek Fuel EX9, seems good so far. Very different from my last bike (Bfe) and seems pretty light. You're welcome to give it a go if you're in the Cheshire area and are medium sized.

What size you after? I'm selling a medium Ghost AMR 2955 at the moment. It's a superb bike, love it to pieces, but just taken delivery of a new Whyte so need to sell it...

I built up a Salsa spearfish a while back and can't recommend it enough. I've never ridden such a fast bike it just covers any terrain so quickly.

Depends where and how you ride?

Anthem is, according to ST the best intro to big wheel bounce.

Spesh stumpjumper 29 may also be good if you ride lumpier stuff.

I just built up an anthem frame, everything they say is true.
I'm over the moon with it. It replaced a 2009 Fuji full sus 29er, what a difference.
