Not too long of a drop (100-120mm is fine)
Externally routed
PNW?
Brand X - I've had one on my MTB for a while now, more reliable than the Reverb that came before it
Brand X do a 100 mm dropper in 27.2.
I have an ebay special. Works, but horribly thin but that's all you have for 27.2
I recently got the pnw to replace my brand x and it is so much better lever if nicer and it works so much better
Another Brand-X user here, lovely. Can't go wrong. Watch out for the 'Promax' ones on Ebay, they don't last long.
thinking of getting one for my x bike. Do these levers works with road style bars? - specifically the on-one midge?
Pnw do a road bar lever if i remember correctly
I used a KS dropper with my left 105 shifter. A little slower than it should be due to reduced cable pull but worked fine. Reminds me I should get around to selling it.
I have a PNW 27.2, externally routed, 100mm drop. Perfectly fine although a tiny bit of wobble in the saddle, but don't know if that's normal for dropper posts.

thats an great idea.
Brand-x here.
Happy with it in general though it could return a little faster.
Why is PNW better than Brand X? Is it £50 better?
Brand-x here.

Does it have a valve under the saddle clamp?
You can add more air in there for faster return
Brandx with a bontrager lever ftw!
I was a little disappointed that the 27.2 Brand-X only comes with the 2x lever, then I realised that's probably a good thing as I have a Timber bell and I'm not sure it'd fit with a 1x style lever.
