The rear swingarm on my 2009 Orange Five has cracked and Orange no longer hold any replacements.
Looking into getting it repaired. However, Orange don't recommend repairing a frame over 3 years old, as it supposedly weakens the original heat treatment and makes the frame weaker overall.
They have offered me a 25% discount on a new frame, but the only option now is the "old" 26in Alpine.
So looking for other options. Keen to stick with 26in due to having decent forks, wheels and large selection of tyres.
Any suggestions welcome.
Cheers
Edit. Looking for 5/6in travel and large frame.

650b frame with 2.4+ tyres, very little difference.
Pivot Mach 5.7 is worth considering ('cause it's what I have and I love it)... I'm sure there have been a couple of similar threads recently but my powers of search are failing me.
Second hand 26" Five (assuming you like them). There are loads about.

Seriously though, I'd probably just hunt out a second hand 5. You only really need the swing arm so it doesn't matter what size it is. If you get it cheap enough, treat the whole thing to a re spray by Orange and hey presto, 'new' bike that you already know you like.
