Life is too short for shite hubs.

Loose ball bearings have there place for sure but not on cheap hubs.

Spa cycles for great wheels, innit?

You can get some nice handbuilts on proper hubs for not much more.

Says it’s Hopkinson cycles. I did think they seemed abit cheap but sometimes people have good reviews so thought I’d ask.

Thanks
Tom

Ebay

Stick £85-90 quid at the end on these, might be lucky.

I've a pair of pro 2 in gold- 15x100mmF/135mmR on DT Swiss xr400. They come with vgc schwalbe marathon almotion  26x2.15" - which is a 100 quid worth of tyres.

Were fitted to my cove stiffee 😉

A bit more than 80 quid im afraid, and the 15mm can easily be changed to QR(I'll even chuck in a pair of adaptors)

Fitted here.

If we’re posting not so stealthy ads. I’ve got some advertised in the classifieds - a paid for ad too!

So I guess it’s easy enough to convert from 15mm to qr?

On hope hubs 15 to qr is the sum total of pulling out the adaptors and putting different ones in. No tools no nothing, not even unscrew just pull, they are held in with a little rubber o-ring. it's literally the easiest thing you can do on a bike.

That’s good to know. I might keep a look out for some with 15mm and just convert them.

I have a few sets of Hope QR adapters I’d happily part with for the cost of postage.
