[#9411489]

Got one of the last 2013's Orange Five Pro's, i have always ran Maxxis ADvantage 2.25 front and rear and been happy with the year round performance and wear rate hence going for the same tyre time after time.

I will need to change both front and rear again in the coming weeks / once the wet weather kicks in.. does anyone have any recommendations ?

Looking for something at least 2.2 wide, ideally a bit wider for the front.

Thanks in advance.

Bontrager XR4 on the font, XR2 or 3 on the back year round (team issue). They seem just as good for playing in the local woods as bombing down rocky trails on overseas adventures.

Thanks for the suggestions.

One other i have seen is the Schwalbe Magic Mary BikePark MTB Tyre 2.3 - any thoughts on this for the front ?

Thanks

Depends on the trails you ride. Are they man made centre trails, natural loam, muddy etc

In true, recommend what you ride style, my 2013 Five is currently shod with 2.35 Magic Mary Trailstar on the front and 2.25 Nobby Nic Pacestar on the rear. I put these on for winter and had intended to put the Hans Dampf back on the front for summer, but the Magic Mary seems to work just fine all year round on the front (YMMV of course). I may well stick a Hans Dampf on the back for winter though, as the Nobby Nic is "interesting" when it is cold and wet.
