Can't see that anyone else has mentioned it but looks like everything is discounted 25% at the checkout.

does it look deliberate? Or are they going to be cancelling lots of orders when they find it?

Think its an error as it states "Discount for Enchess International Ref Ian McIntyre"

Ian is head of own brand there, I expect a techie added a discount code for a client incorrectly and applied to all orders.

Enjoy! (new carbon pedals ordered)

oh, dear.

someone's going to be getting a fair bit docked from their wages.

Wonder how much they take per hour at this time of year - probably £20k+

that's quite a loss/mess to sort out.

I think you are right.

Erm. Knowing that the "discount" is an error, don't you feel that ordering at that price is tantamount to looting?

mikehopkins - Member

someone should order Yeti 303 DH Frame 2007

-£430
UK code + £15 : D

that would still have to be a damn-sight cheaper before it was of any interest!

Sorry to be such a priggish square, but do you people not give a *** about damaging CRC's business? I bet you all complained about looters taking liberties in London last year. How is this different?

It may or may not be legal. It does not seem right.

No. They will come in tomorrow and take a view as to honour the orders. Likely they will decide to since it is all incremental profitable business they would not have got otherwise.

Edit: Assuming they think like economists.

Not binding, CRC only offer an invitation to treat

Even with the discount, CRC are still mo' money for Garmin stuff.

Anyway. I highly doubt orders will be honoured.

If it was me I would honor, 25% discount or whatever is still profitable, the sales are incremental and would likely not otherwise have been made, and the administrative cost of sorting out will be considerable.

I have no idea how this is relevant, ordering through a discounted CRC still isn't giving money to your LBS

True. Guess we will see. As I said though, even with the discount I bet you can find the same stuff cheaper elsewhere still.
