Hoping for some recommendations please! ๐Ÿ™‚

24hour events, for a team of lads, just for fun!

Never done such an event before so not sure what exists?

Cheers

Bontrager 24/12 down in Plymouth. Bit of a trek, but it's a good course, friendly atmosphere and decent facilities.
We've done it 3 years now and will be back this year.

The StrathPuffer is the best one IMO.

Friendly crowd, sense of satisfaction if you are still alive at the end etc...

Too late for this year though.

I have done SitS, Mayhem, Relentless and Strathpuffer.

All good in their own different way !!

Where do you live - and how do you define "fun" ? Is it about the atmos, the course, the general chat, the brand of shower gel in the showers, the music in the arena ? The weather even ???

Clic24 is very laid back and for a very good cause.

I've done OSMM twice and Twentyfour12 4 times, I prefer 24/12 but I'll be back to both events again this year.

which event can you all attend surely getting a big enough team is more important than which event you have a go at.

Whichever one you pick have fun!

If you are going just for fun then it has to be the strathpuffer. I always say that it's not so much a bike race but a test of survival.

There is something uniquely satisfying about completing a race where you've heard trees falling over due to the wind.

I think that would be when it was 80mph gusts. I was cacking myself - my 14yr old daughter was out on a lap when that blew up.
