Sturmey-Archer and SRAM sprockets will also fit the same mounts (except for the S-A 8 speed). I use S-A cogs on my Alfines - better quality.

I think Alfine sprockets are only available in 18 and 20T, but you can use Nexus sprockets, which have a wider range. You don't get the little plastic guard that you do with Alfine sprockets but they are otherwise interchangeable. I did check this with Madison before buying mine - just Google 22T Nexus and you'll find plenty.

SRAM, Sturmey and Shimano hub gear sprockets are generally interchangeable. You can get up to 24t. you might need to check whether dished or not as that would effect chainline.
