Yes, unless you have a hub that can be converted e.g. Hope ProII
depends on your hub. Certain hubs you can buy a converter for to switch to 20mm Hope Pro2 and Halo both do this but if its a cheapish wheel its likely you will need a new hub or wheel.

rough rule of thumb, how thick is the central part of the hub - does it look like it'd [u]easily[/u] accommodate a 20mm axle?
(edit - better still, get on hope's site & see what it is)
