I got a wheel with a 20mm hub

It drives me mad removing and fitting the whee. I find that the sleeve inside the hub moves around stopping the axle going through without a bit of fiddling.

What am I doing wrong?

Also they are the older 20mm boltthrough with the two pinch bolts underneath. I have a QR20 axle that does the job, can I use the QR20 without doing up the pinch bolts, or will it end in tears?

What hub is it? On my hope bulb, whne the bearings are hammered in. they hold the sleeve in place so it cant move

What forks are they also?

older dts were like that - better if your axle's got a tapered end

bolts underneath are part of the fork's structural integrity, so do need to be done up.
