When do the 2020 bikes start trickling into the shops?
Varies by manufacturer (and even then by year), some already have 2020 model year bikes in the shops (Specialized for one). If they do a major model revamp then they'll generally label it as next year's model (so it still seems current when the following year all they do is change the paint job).
A lot of high end bikes get officially launched now-ish (TdF time) and normally available in the shops a few weeks later.
Launches are at various bike parks through the summer usually
and models coem out from about then on, speak to your dealer & see if they can get a pre-order etc
Apparently Santa Cruz announce their new colours on July 1st. I’m more interested right now in any major changes to Orbea and ibis colours though.
Orbea unveil some new stuff later today. I'm hearing rumours of a new Occam, new stock colours for the Rallon and possibly a new retro-fittable linkage for the Rallon to up the rear travel to 160mm (that's one comment I've seen on FB so could be bollocks though!)
new Occam is up on FB now - looks lovely !
So long as there's no major changes design wise to the Rallon I'm not too fussed because I'd do the MyO anyways. The new Occam does look lovely though.
Trek main launch is July but some are trickling through early
As said above Trek have 2020 Top fuels out now/1120 plus some Cxbikes EXs and Remedys soon.
