Preordered the 2018 Orbea OIZ 29 to replace my hardtail for regular local bimbles on XC routes.

Despite having just got a new bike

Probably a great pairing of bikes

They really wanted to get a bottle mount on that yellow Santa Cruz.
Are they back in fashion?

Although despite saying on here i would buy one, its been (correctly) pointed out to me i wont be £3800 faster than my current 2014 version, HA "corrected" with 120mm forks.

Orbea have really upped their game.

The swing links in those Santa Cruzes look ungainly.

Similar pairing to mikewsmith for me, except I'd choose a tallboy in the new mango colour instead of the Hightower LT

The Orbeas [i]are[/i] very nice. Not a big enough change to tempt me off my 2017 Occam AM though. Nice of Specialized to copy the suspension/rear triangle design for the new Epic too.
