I've got play in the swing arm lower pivot bolt (is there a bearing in there?).

Anyway I can find them as part of a full kit for older models but I just need that bolt for a 2015.

Any ideas?

thanks

Try the bearings first. Otherwise any spesh dealer can get parts.

I can't get the bearing out, its a sealed unit. Spesh only sell the full set for £80!

What does the bolt look like? Is it a special shape?

If not you may be able to find the same things from a Bolt supplier.

Got my replacement set of bearings from qbikes on ebay for much less. You will need to buy a tool to remove the bearings. I recall the main pivot bearings being fairly easy to replace. It's the horst ones which can be problematic.

It's probably just the bearing that needs changing and not the bolt.

Do you mean where the chainstay meets the frame just behind the chainset ?

All the bearings are normal sizes and not unique to Spesh , but best use MAX type ones as they seem to last longer

Its the main pivot bolt which is number 2 on the bottom right of the first picture.

The bearing is enclosed in the end cap of the bolt, I did try to prise it out but couldn't seen a way so think its a sealed unit?

If you hover over the schematic it explodes the view which may help you see how it comes apart. Never had to replace a pivot bolt on any of our Specializeds

Sound like Bolt has corroded to the bearing inner race, heat sometimes helps. But normally I crush bearing Ina vice to destroy most of it , this leaves the inner race still on the bolt. Sometimes this will twist off but mostly we end up cutting the inner race off.

The bolt should be fine to reuse which saves £££ as you can't get single bolts
