Can it be done? Read several older topics on various forums but can't seem to find the answer.

Looking at the mount on Kevins the shock end looks like a custom Specialized job but his has the brain fitted. They do have a technical guy at Specialized UK who may be able to advise you.
Apparently after reading a thread on pinkbike (stumpjumper FSR Evo do it all bike?) Mojo can custom build a float X with the shaft that fits the rocker link for an extra £50 on top of the price of the float X. Might be worth calling and asking.
Thanks for the info. Mojo accepted an order this morning and then a technician has just come back to me stating that the Float X can't be fitted on the Stumpy but the normal CTD Float can. Shame but not sure there is any massive difference.
did they say why? looks like enough space for the piggy back
Something to do with the eyelets not fitting with the Float X
