[Closed] 2013 XT Trail Brakes & Formula Rotors

Quick question on my XT 2013 trail disc brakes and formula rotors.

Firstly anyone had any issues running these together?

Reason I ask is changed pads last week and went the for metal pads as they were what I had worn out...so couple of rides in now and they dont seem sharp occassionly they do but other times they feel slow to stop not like XT I used to know which could lock front wheel on demand.

Sometimes it sounds like you can hear all the holes in the formula rotors running through the pads! I have tried brake disc cleaner etc and bled them making sure no mineral oil got on the pads etc...
