Opinions please.
Merlin have a good deal on 2013 Rl's
Or would money be better spent on a older second hand RLT ti?
Anyone had both or Rockshox savvy ?

Depends on how old - the ones with the sag gradients marked on the stanchions (2012/13) are c200g lighter than 2011 and earlier ones.

RLT Ti better damping BBMC and dual flow rebound.
RL dual flow rebound but only DNA RL moco.
2012/2013 have DNA moco s in RL, RLT and RCT3 spec comp dampers and are dual or solo air for 2013.
2011 are RLT TI and dual air.
With the second hand ones factor a full service into the cost.
You can also upgrade the compression damper in the RL's

Older RLT Ti. Internally adjusting the travel on the 2013 models involves buying a whole new air assembly at £70 a time.

Or consider the X fusion Velvet RL2.

Turns out the ones on merlin are RLT's so what is the Ti in RLT Ti's and what's the advantage?
Loco would you upgrade the compression damper in 2013 RLT's? If so roughly how much are they?
