Looking to sell my SE, anyone hazard a guess at how much it is worth in todays climate?

£3850

😆 😆 😆

A lot less than that, but then there are a lot of mugs about keeping s/h prices high and encouraging bicycle theft, so you might get lucky.

Sbob don't mean to be rude, please explain? Not sure what you are getting at regarding 'mugs' and s/h prices

I just mean that there are people out there who are foolish enough to buy second hand and save a very small amount of money to sacrifice their consumer rights.
For all I know, your bike could be riddled with expensive problems that the buyer would only find out about after parting with their hard earned.

That was all I meant, and I do apologize for making the suggestion that your bike that you have for sale could be a totally overpriced shed, but then that's what you get for asking silly questions after trying to advertise your sale in the bike forum. 💡

So rule of thumb is 50% in first year, £2250 thereabouts

Cheers for the advice guys, will re think the asking price. And sbob, appreciate your response, wit and humour, however I wasn't trying to sell it on the forum, merely looking for a guide and realistic sale price. 8)
